Hotdogs and Potluck at 1:00
Bob and Lorie Ellett have once again invited us to be their guests at the Overbrook John Beltz Retreat Center located in Galena and adjacent to the Hoover Reservoir. This beautiful 110+ acre retreat has hiking trails, playground, a shelter house with picnic tables and fields for our Goldens to run. We may take our Goldens off leash! They will have a great time on leash, too. There will be hayrides for members and their Goldens, a wadding pool and lots of tennis balls and Frisbees, and FOOD!
Please bring a dish to share, if you last name begins with: (hotdogs & beverages provided)
A-K appetizer or snack
L-R side dish
S-Z dessert
Guests welcome! The complete article and more information may be found in the winter edition of our newsletter, GOLDEN OFFERINGS.
An optional donation of cat food, dog food or treats (nothing larger than 5 pounds, please) will be accepted for the pet companions of Seniors served by the Meals on Wheels Program. We did this at our Golden Day gathering in the fall; it was a huge success and greatly appreciated! The majority of Seniors do have cats; I know we all think dogs.
PLEASE RSVP! Cathy Taylor at dtaylo9@columbus.rr.com
